We'd love to hear from you.
Our unique Team as a Service (TaaS) approach provides carefully appraised tiers of support, maximising value for the client while delivering the support expertise that the service requires.
Service Support is provided through a range of options dependent on the requirement including business and out-of-hours support, full service desk capability, communications channel integration, custom monitoring and active alert escalation.
We make use of industry standard SaaS Service Desk tooling for the management of workloads including incident management, bug tracking, feature scoping and backlog tracking. This provides a dedicated Service Desk instance per service / client for the management and auditing of all communications with Four Seals Digital.
The Service Desk is tightly integrated with popular communications / collaboration tools (e.g. Slack, Basecamp, Confluence) and monitoring stacks (e.g. Pingdom, New Relic, Prometheus).
As part of a comprehensive incident management approach, we encourage Disaster Recovery scenario simulations (using chaos engineering principles) on an agreed schedule during business hours.
All our support agreements include the provision of regular reporting on the health of the service even when the service appears to be running smoothly or during low-incident periods. Monthly reports comprise critical metrics agreed with the client and representing the full scope of Non Functional Requirements needed to gain a full understanding of the service status. Front end reports comprise user journeys, funnels, conversion rates and feedback.
Regular reporting to service owners, delivery staff or management help to preemptively identify where bottlenecks might appear, or to isolate the components most likely to present issues. Reports are also generated following any P1 incident or outage as part of a root cause analysis investigation.
Four Seals Digital has recently provided migration services from GOV.UK PaaS for a number of public sector clients. We are well placed to assess, plan, and deliver on the move of production workloads between GOV.UK PaaS and Public Cloud, and to advise on the significant enhancements that can be made to a service as a result.
We have many years experience supporting and developing CMS platforms within both the private and public sector, including Wordpress, Drupal, open-source headless and popular SaaS vendors. Our CMS migrations have included version upgrades, plugin rationalisation and the move from on-prem or private cloud.
Data Analytics encompasses more than just Business Information (BI) systems that help you to absorb, organise, discover, and analyse your data.
The value added by aggregating and processing disparate data sources allows you to reveal actionable insights that can help improve decision-making and inform business strategy, as well as forming a core component in the service itself.
We have deployed and operated data analytics platforms in Salesforce and AWS (Redshift, Lake Formation), PowerBI and Tableau.
Providing the tooling is the first step in a long process of refinement. Data must be reliably sourced and ingested. They must then be appropriately transformed and processed in a way that provides extensibility and value for the intended audience, be they business and data analysts, data scientists, service owners or other business stakeholders.
We encourage all our support agreements to make provision for a contingency clause to cover continuous improvement. This Lean Technique ensures a digital service is not left to degrade, either functionally or technically.
Technical maintenance and a strict patching schedule will ensure the service is kept protected against threats and vulnerabilities, and appropriate reporting and monitoring will identify bottlenecks and pinch points. However continuous improvement acknowledges the state of constantly evolving user needs, technical options and operational approaches. When combined with regular research and engagement with the user community, continuous improvement ensures a service grows and adapts to changing needs.
